It was Thursday. That meant that in the afternoon my Dad drove me and my brother to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where my den holds our weekly den meetings. My older brother goes with me as he is currently one of our Den Chiefs.
My den and I started with a welcome by our Den Leaders, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a prayer.
Our first activity was going outside and cleaning the yard and parking lot of our church. (Sometimes there is a lot of garbage there!)
Next we went inside and drew some pictures. We talked for a bit about litter and cleaning up after others.
Then, we played two games followed by a closing prayer.
My Dad showed up and took us home.
